Krispy Kreme anyone?

We celebrated Grandpa Hunt's birthday yesterday by seeing the new Disney movie "UP" and enjoying some fresh doughnuts at Krispy Kreme! The movie was soooo cute and Burkley did suprisingly well as long as I supplied him with dumb dumb suckers throughout the whole movie.
He loved that he got a hat

Loved being with all his cousins

And loved watching the doughnuts being made

Happy Birthday Marshall!

My baby turned one on Thursday and I can't believe how fast it went by! He is such a sweet boy and I can't imagine my life without him.
Sleeping babies are so precious
Big brother loving him
That face just makes me smile!

Birthday waffles!
He didn't even hesitate
Opening his new puzzle
And Burkley claiming the puzzle as his own!

Memorial Day fun~!

Nothing says Memorial Day like a pool party! The smell of barbeque and sunscreen and kids splashing and screaming! However this is a day to be thankful for our freedoms and to those who fought and continue to fight for our county. I am extremely grateful for those who have given up time with their own families to fight to keep mine safe. Especially to those who paid the biggest price and didn't get to return to our great nation. This is something that I will try to remember often and not take for granted because it is why America is the home of the free.

Playdate at the pool!

We met for some fun at the pool last week and it was a great day for it!

Marshall LOVES the water - whether in the pool, bathtub or kitchen sink, the kid is a splasher!

Hours of FUN!!!

I never would of thought an empty diaper box could provide such entertainment for my boys! They pushed this thing around for days along w/ beating on it like a drum. Gosh who needs toys?

Goodbye Bozzle-wozzle

We lost a part of our family today with the passing of our dog Bozley. He was such a good dog and was with us for such a long time that he will be missed a lot. I still can't believe he's gone.

Random

I walked outside to check on Burkley who was "helping" daddy paint the fence and I found Groucho Marx! I was dying laughing! He had been throwing dirt up in the air over his head and it seemed to stick on his upper lip and eyebrows! When I showed him this pic he laughed and said "dirty face!" I'll second that!
Playing after church
Last night at dinner Burkley put his arm around Kenny's shoulder and said (totally serious)"hey man."

Marshall is into pointing for some reason. He'll crawl away from me and turn around a few times and point back to me. I can't believe he'll turn one in a few weeks!

Welcome Visitors

"Uncle Trent"
We had visitors last week when Kenny's cousins came to visit. It took Burkley like 5 mins to stop being shy and then he was stuck to them like glue! Mommy who? It was actually really nice and we had a lot of fun. They made a couple of trips to the Kleins house to see their horses and Burkley fell in love with their day old baby goats.

Uncle Troy and Mikelle
Kenny said Burkley sat like this for about 20 mins just letting the goat suck his thumb. They offered us one but we don't have a separate place to keep it.
